"Au Pair of the Year" Award

Thousands of young people worldwide embark on a journey to become au pairs every year. They leave their homes and their families to accept a huge responsibility: to care for their host family’s children. For many au pairs, this is their first experience living in a new country and adjusting to a new culture.

In order to honor this brave undertaking, the International Au Pair Association (IAPA) bestows the title of “Au Pair of the Year” upon one outstanding au pair each year. Read more.

Award winners

Cultural Care au pairs have won the title of "Au Pair of the Year" two years in a row, in 2008 and 2009. In 2010, 2011 and 2012, we recognized three finalists and many state winners in a contest of our own. We encourage you to meet some of our winners. We think you'll find they are much like your own au pair: dedicated, hardworking and full of love to share with their American host children!
